Since Pastor Craig’s message last week on peacemaking, what advances on his talking points have you achieved? What has been the roadblock?
What did you learn from Pastor Frank’s message on “Room at the Table”? What about that message helps and inspires you to invite other people to the table? What could you put into practice now?
Read Joshua 6:1-25. What do you learn about God from this passage? What do you learn about faith? What was the role of Rahab in this passage? How would people have judged her life? How did God use her life? What happened to her family because she was available for God despite her social status? Take a moment to think. Who do you consider unworthy at your table or God’s table? How would you want God to change your heart?
Read Luke 14:12-24. What do you discover about God in this passage? What is God passionate about? Are there any surprises for you in this story? What does God want us to be passionate about? Who does God want at His table? What does inclusivity at God’s Kingdom look like? Is your life similar? Why? Why not?
Establish a plan with your family and friends of how you can begin to invite people different from you into your life and fellowship.
Gather in smaller groups and pray for each other.
