About CtK

Our mission is to…Connect all people to the life-giving message of Jesus as we experience God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference in our world. We are a Lutheran church that seeks to break the mold. Using contemporary worship, community groups, children’s ministry, pre-school, care ministry, prayer ministry, outreach, and student ministry we seek to reach the lost in the Steele Creek area of Charlotte, NC. We are currently in the middle of a renovation and building program to build a community center that will reach out into our community to impact it for Jesus Christ. This includes a coffee shop that will be open during the week and an indoor playground. Come and experience Jesus in a lifegiving way!

On a Sunday we worship approximately 250 live and another 200 or so online. We have three fulltime pastors including a worship pastor plus fulltime youth director and children’s director. We have various support staff that are a vital part of our ministry that impact change just not Sundays but each day in our community.
