About CtK

Our mission is to…Connect all people to the life-giving message of Jesus as we experience God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference in our world. We are a Lutheran church that seeks to break the mold. Using contemporary worship, community groups, children’s ministry, pre-school, care ministry, prayer ministry, outreach, and student ministry we seek to reach the lost in the Steele Creek area of Charlotte, NC. We’re thrilled to announce the completion of our building renovation, featuring exciting new partnerships with Javesca Coffee, SCCP and YMCA. Our space now boasts an indoor playground, offering a vibrant hub for our community to gather and connect. Step into our transformed sanctuary and discover Jesus in a truly life-giving atmosphere. Join us as we embark on this journey of faith, fellowship, and joyful discovery.

On Sundays, our congregation comes alive with around 250 worshippers gathered in person, joined by another 200 online. Our dedicated team includes three full-time pastors, including a worship pastor, as well as a full-time youth director and children’s director. Additionally, we’re supported by various essential staff members who play a crucial role in our ministry, impacting our community not just on Sundays, but every single day. Together, we’re committed to making a lasting difference and spreading the message of love and faithfulness far beyond our church walls.
