Title: Giving is Addition, Not Subtraction in God’s Kingdom Agenda
God is the ultimate provider. He has an all-access ability to bless those faithful to His kingdom agenda.
What keeps us from being a part of a God sense miracle with our money?
Love of Money! Money can become an idol, deceive us or make us greedy.
1 Timothy 6:10, Luke 16:13, 1Timothy 6:9, Ecclesiastes 5:10
What opens the door for a God sense miracle with our money?
1) Understanding God’s vision for money.
Proverbs 14:23, Ephesians 4:28
2) Putting the worship of God above our money.
2 Samuel 24:24
2 Corinthians 8:5 … and this, not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then by the will of God to us
3) Having faith not in the bottom line, but in the lifeline.
Malachi 3:10-12, 2 Corinthians 9:6-15
Proverbs 11:24-25 NIV One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
Hebrews 6:10-12

Title: Giving is Addition, Not Subtraction in God’s Kingdom Agenda
How do you understand money in your household? What is its purpose? What value is placed upon it? What influence does God have on your money?
How do you think culture values money? How do you think God views money?
Read 1 Timothy 6:10 and Luke 16:13. What are these passages saying and why? How do you see the truth in these passages being played out in our culture?
Read 2 Kings 4: 42-44 and 2 Kings 4:1-7. In these passages, what are the miracles of God? What obedience was needed for these miracles to take place? What do these passages say about giving and sharing? What do these passages say about God’s provision for life?
Read 2 Corinthians 8:1-7. What is happening in this passage? How does Paul affirm these Macedonian Christians? Describe their heart and character before God? What made them so joyful? What is the key takeaway for you?
Read 2 Corinthians 9:6-15. What are the promises in this passage? Where is Paul encouraging obedience to God? What is the impact of our generosity on us? What is the impact of generosity on others?
What might happen if you believed and practiced what the Bible says about money? How might your life become more free, exciting, and fulfilled?
Gather with each other and pray for your own openness to God’s way and will. Pray for our nation and your ability to be Jesus’ light to others.
