Title: Royal Blood
God’s story through our lives of ups and downs, failures and successes continues to define and refine His desire for prominence in our lives.
In Christ you are connected to a lineage of royalty and value.
As Believers in Christ:
We are Adopted!
Ephesians 1:5 God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.
We are Inheritors!
Romans 8:17 And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.
We are Chosen!
We are Royal!
We are Holy
We have Purpose!
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
God Knows Your Name!
Isaiah 43:1-3, John 10:3-9
Your Name is in His Book!
Revelation 3:5 The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.

Title: Royal Blood
Share with each other what you know of your genealogy. How did you get your name? What does it mean?
Glance through 1 Chronicles chapters 1-9. What do you see? How boring was looking through that? Why do you think the writer took the time to record all of these names?
Review the following passages. What does each passage say about who you are in Christ?
Ephesians 1:46, Colossians 1:21-22, 2 Corinthians 5:20-21, Romans 5:21, Romans 8:34, Hebrews 3:1, Ephesians 1:5, Romans 8:17, Ephesians 1:3-14.
When have you been embarrassed by not knowing a name? Why? Why does it feel good for someone to know our name?
Read Isaiah 43:1-3. What is this passage saying about you? What is it saying about God? What does it mean to be known by God? How could you come to know God as He knows you?
Read John 10:3-9. How is Jesus describing Himself? How are you represented in this passage? What is this passage saying about Jesus’ relationship with His people?
Read Revelation 3:4-6. Who is it that conquers? What does that mean? What is the reward? What is the promise of God in this passage? How does this promise make a difference in your everyday life?
Gather with each other and share with each other your key takeaway from this study. Pray for each other’s needs.
