Making a mighty move of God comes in having a mighty move of God’s people joining together. You are only as good as those around you.
Personal Notes:
Impact Fathers have on their children’s lives:
King Saul failed because he isolated himself. King David succeeded because of a band of brothers.
1 Chronicles 11: 4-9
Two major keys to David’s success:
1) David was devoted to God.
Psalm 4:7-8, Psalm 18:1-3, Psalm 27:1
2) David surrounded himself with a band of brothers.

Who is on your list?
Ways to honor your band of brothers/sisters:
Refusal to use your mighty men/women for personal gain!
1 Chronicles 11:18-19
Ability to care and love those God gives to you.

What is your favorite Father’s Day experience? What do you enjoy most about parenting? If you have no children of your own, how can you influence the children God has placed around you?
Share with your family/group who you count on as Godly men/women to guide, protect and encourage you? Why did you choose these people? What qualities do they have that keep you on track in following and honoring God?
What holds you back from fully trusting God? What makes you go out on your own without seeking help or advice? Share with the group ways this has not worked out.
What could you do to grow your list of mighty men/women to help you be a better parent, worker and follower of Jesus?
Read the following passages: Psalm 4:7-8, Psalm 18:1-3, Psalm 27:1 How is this true or not true of your life? How could you improve or grow in these areas of your relationship with God?
