Pride is viewing yourself as more important than God and others, humility is viewing God and others as more significant than yourself.

What are some ways pride sneaks into the church? 

What do you think is at the root of pride?  I.e.: wanting to be seen, noticed, appreciated, loved?

Read 1 Chronicles 21- How did David’s pride tempt him? How was that connected to not trusting God? What was David’s purpose of the census? 

Was God unjust or evil for the punishment He gave? How was God merciful? 1 Chronicles 21:15

Where does pride sneak into your life? How can you walk in humility instead?

What do you think about the statement: “Pride is counting yourself more important than God and others, humility is counting God and others as more significant than yourself.”?

Read Luke 18:14.   What is God saying to you? What is God telling you to do next?
