  Revelation 19:6-8 Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.7 Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; 8 it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”—for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

  Hebrews 3:6 Christ was faithful as a Son over His house—whose house we are if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end.

  Psalm 111:1-4 I will thank the Lord with all my heart as I meet with his godly people. 2 How amazing are the deeds of the Lord! All who delight in him should ponder them. 3 Everything he does reveals his glory and majesty. His righteousness never fails. 4 He causes us to remember his wonderful works. How gracious and merciful is our Lord!

• Share with each other ways in which you have seen the church active in the world. What would you say is the main purpose of the church? What do you think keeps the church from accomplishing its purpose?
  
  

• What is your fondest memory of church?
  
  

• Read Ephesians 5: 25-32. How does Paul describe the relationship of Jesus and the Church? How do you see yourself in this passage? Those who follow Jesus are called “The Church”. Why do you think Jesus cares so much for them? How could you show more love for the collective body called “The Church”?
  
  

• Read Isaiah 60. This passage describes God’s vision for the Church and its ultimate fulfillment. Walk through each section together. What is it saying to you? What parallels do you see with today? How does this passage give you hope?
  
  

• Read Revelation 19:6-8. What is the promise in this passage? How does this passage relate to Ephesians 5:25-32? What is the passage describing? What makes the bride beautiful?
  
  

• Gather with each other and pray for work of Jesus’ Church in the world.
