Title: Worship and Prayer

Faith is so important to have when we go before the Lord in Worship and Prayer!

Hebrews 11:6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. 

There are three steps that we should take to prepare our hearts for Worship and Prayer:

Psalm 24:3-6 Who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? 4 Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies. 5 They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior. 6 Such people may seek you and worship in your presence, O God of Jacob.

Psalm 100:4-5 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

How should we come into the house of the Lord:

1. With Thanksgiving

2. With Praise

• What are the Three steps we should take to Prepare our hearts for Worship &  prayer?

• Read Psalm 24-3:6. What do we need as believers to have to go before the Lord?

• Read Psalm 100 4-5. How are we to come into the House of the Lord?

• What distraction do you need to deal with so you will no longer be distracted in Prayer and Worship?

• Write down a list of things you are believing the Lord to do. Pray and worship over these things.
