If I asked you “How’s your relationship with God going” how do you evaluate that?
When do you feel closest to God?
Read Romans 5:8. How does this passage give you freedom, knowing that God loved you before you ever did anything for him?
Read 1John 3:1. Are you more like a child or more like a parent in the kingdom of God?
How do you please God? Do you believe God is pleased with you? Read Hebrews 11:6, now how simple is it to please God?
What are your motivations for living for God? What are some motivations tied to fear that are leading you in your relationship with God? How can you live beyond those?
Read Romans 12:2-3. How does this transformation work? Have you experienced it? If so, what was it like?
Remind others: You can be loved and love beyond your ability, because you trust in Jesus’ ability. Pray for others to accept that and move beyond their abilities as you move beyond yours.
