Message Notes for September 5, 2021
Series: Disruption, Title: Disrupted to Something Greater
Key verse: Mark 2:21-22 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the patch tears away from it, the new from the old, and a worse tear is made. 22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins—and the wine is destroyed, and so are the skins. But new wine is for fresh wineskins.”

Series: Disruption, Title: Disrupted to something greater
Read and share what God teaches you in this Scripture? Mark 2:21-22
Read the following passages: Proverbs. 13:20, Matthew 22:37. What do these passages want us to know? Where have your relationships or associations caused you to stray from following Jesus, make bad decisions or prioritize the world more than God? What would it look like for you to love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength? What would change in your daily/weekly patterns? Where do you need a disruption to get back on track with following Jesus?
Read the following passages: 2 Chronicles 20:18-24, Joshua 6:1-6,15-16,20, 1 Samuel 16:23. How do you see God working on his people through these Scriptures? What promises of God stand out for you? How can these promises apply to your life? Do you think God can fight your battles? What are you willing to give Him today?
Read the following passages: Psalm 67:3, Psalm 33:2, Hebrews 13:15. What can you do to be a daily worshipper? How could you grow your passion to worship God? How could gathering with the body of believers in worship increase your love and desire for God? Take time to pray and ask God to help you to be a worshiper and you will see God at work.
God saved us for something greater! Walking alongside with him will make us produce good fruits. Can you give some examples of how can we reflect those fruits in the world today? Read the following passages and discuss. Galatians 5:22-23, 1 Corinthians 6:20
