EXALTATION (Top of Triangle) = UP – The worship of God

EDIFICATION (Bottom Right of Triangle) = IN – The building up of His People

EVANGELIZATION (Bottom Left of Triangle) = OUT – Reaching the lost – those who do not know or worship God

• Hebrews 10:24-25 Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, … encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

• How are you encouraged in how God is moving through you and His Church at CtK?

• Matthew 25:40 And the King will say, I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!

• Where do you see Jesus’ words being carried out through you and His Church?

• Acts: 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

• Where do you see CtK Church living out this commission in Acts 1?

Psalm 90:17 Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of

our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!

Title: Outreach Impact

• Read 2 Corinthians 8:9-15. Paul is speaking to the Corinthian Christians regarding their relief offering to the Christians in Jerusalem. What points does he want to make? What is he asking them to do? What does he say about Jesus and giving? How does Paul want us to consider our giving?

• What does this passage mean to you? What makes this difficult in the world we live in? What are the truths in this passage? How might you live into Jesus’ words even more? Where is your heart focused right now? The Bible says that a focus on Jesus increases our joy and our peace. What do you need to do to turn more of your attention to Jesus and receive His peace and joy? Jesus says that He will order your life and provide for your means. Do you believe that? Why? Why not?

• Gather with your friends/Group/Family and consider the three purposes of God for His church of which you individually are a part. Exaltation – the praise and worship of God. Edification- the building up and maturing of God’s people in faith and following of Jesus. Evangelization – the sharing of Jesus’s love and truth to the world. Make a plan in how you – individually and together as a family or group – can live these out each day. In what ways will you plan to encourage each other daily?

• Read Proverbs 3:9-10. Where are you with this passage right now? What can you pray for in faith to receive the truth of what God is saying in this passage?

• Read Psalm 90:17. How do you want God to bless the work of your hands for His kingdom agenda in 2023? Share with the group and seek support to fulfill it.
