Worship Pastor/Director

Christ the King Church in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Worship Pastor/Director to lead and spiritually guide all aspects of worship ministry. Should be accomplished vocalist and instrumentalist with ability to train team members in each; grow a multi-ethnic worship team and experience; organize sound and tech teams, and collaboratively work for the overall mission of Christ the King.

Position Summary:
This person would elevate all aspects of the worship ministry.  Leading and developing multi-ethnic leaders for worship, adults, youth and children. Planning and implementing creative and engaging worship experiences. Working collaboratively with a staff team for the overall mission of Christ the King Church to connect our community to Jesus and each other.

Qualifications:
• Passionate follower of Jesus matched with a lifestyle of integrity
• Experience in vocal and instrumental worship leadership with extended musical education preferred
• Biblical education and aptitude to disciple teams
• Understanding of current, authentic worship experiences
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written, spoken and one-on-one)
• Exceptional work ethic and commitment to excellence
• Positive, stable attitude
• Proven ability to attract and raise up a multi-ethnic worship team
• Spiritual aptitude to pastor the spiritual health of worship ministry
• Proven ability to seek out and develop musical and artistic talent
