Title: Miracles of Healing
Miracles are a move of God beyond any human thought, ability or action. Miracles still exist and God still moves.
Psalm 77:14 NIV You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.
Matthew 17:20-21 ESV For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, …. THEN you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there, and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.
Jehovah Rapha = “The Lord who Heals”

Title: Miracles of Healing
- What is the purpose of healing miracles in the Bible? Where have you seen a healing miracle in your life or someone else? Share with the group.
- How do healing miracles demonstrate God’s character or power? What do they say about God? What does Jehovah Rapha mean? Why does God want us to call out to Him as healer? What is the difference in healing today and the healing we will have in heaven as believers? Read Revelation 21:1-7. What do you think Jesus wants more than even our earthly healing?
- Why do you think Jesus often told people not to tell others about their healing? Read Mark 1:40-45.
- What is the relationship between faith and healing in the miracles of Jesus? Read Luke 7:1-10. In this passage how is faith demonstrated? What role of worthiness or faith does the servant of the soldier account for his miracle? What does this say about Jesus? What does it say about us?
- Read Mark 2:1-12. What do you find particularly interesting in this miracle of healing? How do you understand the relationship of healing and forgiveness? How often do you want something from Jesus more than you want Jesus? Discuss your thoughts around this statement. What does Jesus want? How can you respond to people in need of healing? What gift can you give to them?
- What holds you back from praying for those in need of healing? What does Jesus want you to do?
- Ask each other how they need Jesus to provide healing in their own lives. Pray for each other.
