Title: Miracles of Nature
- Where have you seen a miracle of nature? Explain your experience.
- What do miracles of nature say about God? What does it mean that nature itself is a miracle?
- Read Matthew 17:20-21. What is Jesus saying to you in this passage? What is difficult to understand about it? How would you define faith? How do faith and alignment with God go together? How does your control keep you from living in the depth of faith with Jesus? Why do we have faith that belief in Jesus will bring us to heaven in eternal life, but not have faith that ordering our finances, our lives, and our decisions will produce a deeper, more meaningful life? What is the disconnect? What is your next step of faith?
- Read some of the following miracles of nature. What does God want to show us through these miracles?
- The sun stood still – Joshua 10:12-14
- Daniel in the lions’ den – Daniel 6:16-23
- The fiery furnace – Daniel 3:12-28
