Life with Jesus can become very routine and boring. Faith can feel like a distant churchy word for those waiting on God to do something. Restoring the joy of my faith creates an adventure with God that gets the heart pumping, hope emerging and lives transforming.
The definition of faith:
Growing from infant faith to mature faith.
1 John 5:3-4, Matthew 6:7-11,33

How would you define faith? How would you describe your faith at work in your life?
Read Hebrews, Chapter 11. What characteristics would you put on the faith of those spoken of in this chapter? If you were named in this chapter, what would describe your faith?
How would you describe the difference between an immature faith and a mature faith? What did you learn from the message on January 30th?
Read Matthew 6: 7-13. What does Jesus want to teach us about prayer in this passage? What does Jesus want to teach us about faith in this passage? Where does Jesus want our life focus to be? Why? Read verse 8. How does this passage set us free to serve God in faith?
Read 1 John 5: 1- 5. What are the characteristics of the children of God described in this passage? What do those characteristics have to do with faith in God? How do love and faith go together? What makes God’s commands on our lives feel burdensome? How does keeping God’s commands help us overcome the world?
Gather in smaller groups and pray for each other’s growth in faith to serve God’s will and way.
