Title: Jesus as God

• As we head into this Christmas season, what is your favorite preparation? Why?

• Read John 1:1-18.  In what ways is this passage describing Jesus as one with God?  How do these descriptions give deeper meaning to your relationship with Jesus?  Who is Jesus for you?  What is the decision point that John brings to this view of God?

• Read Philippians 2:5-11.  How does this passage relate to Christmas?  What are the different aspects of Jesus described here?  

• What does it mean that Jesus is in the form of God or equal to God? 

• Read Luke 1:26-33. How does this passage display Jesus as God?  What does it say Jesus will do?  What does this mean in our world today?  Why do you think this message gets lost? 

• How could this truth be more prominent in Christmas for your home and through your influence to friends and co-workers?  

• Read Hebrews 1:1-3.  How is this passage like a Christmas story?  How does it describe Jesus as God?  What impact has Jesus had on the world?  

• How does the study of these passages bring more significance to your celebration of Jesus this Christmas?
