Title: Visible Word
Does anything last? Will the gifts of this Christmas stand the test of time? Is there something more beyond the tinsel and the tree; the pretty lights and the gifts; the gatherings and the meals? Can this Christmas be more than the highs and lows of emotions and feelings? Does the Bible really hold the truth of a timeless gift? Is there a mystery that is waiting to be discovered? Is there a God who wants us to see and know Him? UNWRAPPED! Some
gifts really do last forever!
The power of unwrapping the gift of Jesus.
Luke 1:26-38 – The power of the word!
John 1: 1-4, 14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. … 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
“Rhema” = A Spoken Word
“Logos” = a broader meaning to reference God’s message for humankind.
