Series: Worthy “The Difference is Evident”

Title: Humility is About Position, Gentleness is About Posture

* Do you consider humility and gentleness signs of being weak or signs of being strong?

* Why is it so hard to be gentle with others in stressful or even hurtful moments?

* Read Ephesians 4:1-2. Why do you think God wants us to have a position of humility and posture of gentleness? How does that connect to our worth?

* Who do you know displays humility well? What characteristics do they display? What can you learn from them?

* When was the last time you lost your temper, rose your voice, or responded harshly? What caused that? Looking back, what would you have done differently? The next time a triggering moment like that comes up, ask God “How can I respond to this with humility, and gentleness?”

* Read Matthew 11:29, what are the 2 things Jesus describes himself as? Why is that so important? Do you see Jesus in other ways than humble and gentle?

* Who is a person you can be more gentle towards in your interactions or 

  responses? Pray to God about those areas of your life, follow His way, and expect Him to do amazing things!
