Series: Defined Title: Creators – A study of Joshua
When have you had to think creatively to get through a problem or obstacle?
Share with others?
-
How did it turn out?
-
How have you seen the creativity of God in your life?
-
How has He broken down barriers and opened doors in ways you did not expect?
Read Numbers 14:1-12.
-
What is going on in the passage? (You may need to read Numbers 13 to get the context.) What were the barriers for the people entering the promised land?
-
How did Joshua and Caleb view these barriers? Why? Why do you think God wants us to be creative to become the people He is calling us to be? For what purpose?
Read Matthew 28:19-20.
-
How would you have to be creative to live this command in your life? What barriers have you had to cross with people in order to share the good news of Jesus?
Read Luke 5:17-20.
-
How were these people creative in helping get their friend to Jesus?
-
What was the result? What struggles or barriers do you see that are keeping people from experiencing God’s best?
-
How could you help solve those in your everyday ministry?
-
Gather in smaller groups and pray for each other.
Pray for God’s strength and courage to move past problems and for God’s creativity to experience new life.
